Join travel writer and blogger Cliff Bandringa as he discusses the different types of publications out there – from the old fashion printed variety to newer on-line blogs and how they function. Article construction and layout will also be covered, from suggested sections to include, to the usage of pictures. Recommendations on how to approach and submit article proposals to publishers will also be discussed.
Antelope Island State Park

Meet at the Island Visitors Center outdoor amphitheater for an update on Island events by the Park Naturalist. Then continue with Ann Evans, former park ranger/naturalist as we continue to tour to the various sites, learning about the bison and other wildlife, history of the Island and Great Salt Lake. Includes the Fielding Garr Ranch. This tour will be completely outdoors so social distancing can be practiced.
Utah Office of Tourism Presentation

Join us via Zoom for an update of Utah’s tourism by the Utah Office of Tourism. Haley Rodgers is the Utah Office of Tourism’s Global Content & Tour Specialist. She specializes in coordinating and hosting international famialization tours. She also works with global market managers and international rep offices on PR and media inquiries. To make sure the office keeps international audiences in mind, she works with the content team on global messaging and storytelling as well.
Wilcox Ranch/Range Creek
September 10 & 11, 2021
Join us as we travel down to Price on a motor coach to spend the night and then begin our tour of Range Creek the next morning at 6:45. We will view the high density of virtually undisturbed prehistoric sites that have been found. Nearly four hundred sites have been identified and recorded including granaries, rock art panels, ruins and artifact scatters. Cost for the tour is $85 and includes transportation, lunch and tour guide for the area. Discount lodging is available in Price.
